Sunday School
Christ Presbyterian Church offers Sunday School classes for all ages during September - May. We currently have three Christian Education classes for elementary kids, junior and senior high students, and an adult Sunday School class every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. Our Sunday school teachers strive to meet their students where they are and help them to grow in their faith through the learning tools that reach them best. Come join us as we study God's Word together and continue to learn what it means to have a Christian identity in our walk with Christ.
Worship and Music
We believe that God has given us each talents which we are to steward in ways that glorify Him. Many of the members of our congregation do this by participating in music and worship during our Sunday church service. Interested in joining one of our ensembles? Choir
Our choir meets on Wednesdays to practice Christian worship songs that add to our Sunday morning service. The choir sings for our regular services and during special services such as our Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday services.
Bell Choir
Our church owns a set of handbells that we use in worship. Our bell choir is one of the opportunities for members of our congregation to use their musical abilities to play instrumental worship music during church.
Special Music
We've had both instrumentalists vocal soloists use their talents to enhance our worship service through special music. We encourage those interested in scheduling a week to worship through special music to contact our Music Director.
Boars Head Festival
Every year, we invite the community to celebrate Christ's birth together at the Boars Head Festival. Complete with medieval period attire, props, and a live choir and orchestra our show is not one you want to miss. Join us in telling the Christmas Story as a performer, or come watch our show during Advent 2025!
Mission
God calls us to show our love for Him by caring for the needs of others. We've answered this call through both local and global mission. Join us in supporting our mission efforts by giving to one of our global missionaries or volunteering alongside us at our local ministries in Ellwood City.
Dip-n-Dots Booth
Each year, we participate in Ellwood City's Fourth of July Festival by selling Dip-n-Dots at our booth to raise money for mission. Join us at our booth this year!
